What size of grant is available?
The maximum grant available is £60,000. Project duration should be between 18 and 36 months.
Who can apply for funding?
Registered charities and other non-profit organisations that have a strong link to the communities they work with.
Can I apply if I am outside the UK?
Yes. At Stage 2 we will ask you to submit proof of your non-profit status and you will need to provide us with three years of audited financial accounts and annual reports.
Can I submit more than one proposal?
No, we will consider only one proposal per organisation at any one time. We therefore recommend that you choose the proposal idea that is the strongest fit with our criteria.
What is your application process?
We have a two-stage application process. All applications are submitted through an on-line system that opens four weeks before the deadline. The system allows you to save answers as you go along.
At Stage 1 we ask three questions
– What is the problem you want to address?
– What will you do?
– What results do you expect?
Only the strongest applications that clearly meet our funding criteria are invited to submit a full proposal at Stage 2.
How long before I hear back?
We will let you know the outcome of our assessment within 8 weeks of the application deadline.
How can I apply?
The Trust has two funding rounds a year. All applications are submitted on-line via our website, a link to the application form will appear on the How to Apply page. The form allows you to save answers as you go along.
When is the next application deadline?
We publish a call for application four weeks before a deadline. The next call will go out in February 2023.
Can I apply again if I have previously been rejected by you?
Yes you can. Please do take note of any feedback we have provided you with and ensure that your proposal fits our funding criteria.
