Our Mission
Our mission is to help forcibly displaced people—and the communities that host them—adapt to a changing climate in ways that enhance quality of life and protect the natural environment.
The Context
Around the world, 120 million people have been forced from their homes — the largest number ever recorded (UNHCR, 2024). Many live in places already on the frontlines of the climate crisis, highly exposed to floods, droughts, and extreme heat and with limited access to resources.
Despite these challenges, forcibly displaced people are problem-solvers — creating inventive, local solutions to secure food, water and livelihoods and restore ecosystems. But without funding or technical support, their ideas rarely reach the scale needed.
By investing in integrated solutions that protect the planet and improve lives, we help unlock transformative change for displaced people and the communities that host them.
